# Einride becomes next Swedish unicorn, Instabox is close

Two high-profile startups from Sweden have seen their valuations increase significantly lately, according to Swedish media.

The valuation of [Einride](https://www.einride.tech/), the autonomous trucking startup from Gothenburg that [just launched in the US](https://electrek.co/2021/11/03/autonomous-freight-company-einride-launches-in-us-with-new-products-and-customers/), reportedly skyrocketed by a sheer 350% on the secondary market over the course of about one year, [reports DI Digital](https://www.di.se/digital/amerikaner-okar-i-svensk-lastbilsutmanare-varderingen-rusar-till-13-miljarder/) (paywall, [alternative article from Breakit](https://www.breakit.se/artikel/31458/uppgifter-varderingen-rusar-i-einride-nar-over-13-miljarder)). At SEK13B (€1.2B, $1.4B), Einride thus becomes another Swedish unicorn .

Meanwhile, Swedish startup [Instabox](https://instabox.io/) is now reportedly valued at around SEK7B (€700M, $770M, compared to SEK3B a year ago, [according to Breakit](https://www.breakit.se/artikel/31408/varderingen-rusar-pa-instabox-varderas-till-over-7-miljarder). The Stockholm-based company operates smart automated parcel lockers and last mile delivery services for end consumers. It is active in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands, and [just initiated](https://postandparcel.info/145955/news/e-commerce/instabox-germany-is-a-great-fit-for-us/) an ambitous expansion into the German market.
