### Mergers & acquisitions

- [Hygglo](https://www.hygglo.se/) (Stockholm, online rental marketplace) acquired UK-based competitor [Fat Llama](https://fatllama.com/) for $41.5M ([English](https://techfundingnews.com/hygglo-acquires-fat-llama-for-41-5m-to-create-peer-to-peer-rental-platform/), [Swedish](https://www.di.se/digital/blocket-for-uthyrning-koper-brittisk-konkurrent/)). The deal will create one of the largest peer-to-peer rental platforms in the world. Sifted has the story on how the acquisition came to be.
