  • AlexisHR (Stockholm, people operations and analytics platform, founded 2019) is being acquired by the 40-year-old Norway-headquartered HR tech company Simployer. The price was not disclosed (English). AlexisHR was founded by Nima Samimi and had raised around SEK30M in total equity funding, mostly from Alliance Venture and Spintop Ventures. For the financial year ending in October 2022, AlexisHR reported net revenue of SEK9.7M, and a loss of -SEK7M.

  • Roam, formerly Opibus (Stockholm & Nairobi/Kenya, developer of electric mobility technology, founded 2017): $24M in a Series A funding round consisting of $14M in equity funding led by Equator Africa, as well $10M debt commitment from the US government’s International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Roam was founded by the Swedes Filip Gardler, Filip Lövström, and Mikael Gånge, and has its headquarter today in Nairobi (English, Swedish / Di Digital paywall).

  • 3eflow (Luelå; designs, manufactures and sells/licenses smart distribution systems for drinking water, founded 2009): SEK20M (€1.8M, $1.9M) from Longrun Capital, in the company's first larger funding (Swedish / Impact Loop paywall).
  • Life Inside (Gothenburg, B2B SaaS solution for integrating interactive video testimonials on any website, founded 2022): SEK4M (€350K, $380K) from angel investors Stefan Magnusson, Jonas Brogårdh, and Houman Ashrafzadeh (English). According to data registered with Bolagsverket an sourced via Eivora, this funding is the startup's first registered equity funding, was paid by set-off of previous debt, and raised at a pre-money valuation of SEK30M.
