  • Xensam (Stockholm, software asset management platform, founded 2016) announced the growth funding round from Expedition Growth Capital which I covered in the "unannounced funding" section on January 11. The confirmed amount is $40M, though an unspecified part of it represents a secondary transaction. TechCrunch quotes the investor with the words "Xensam is one of the most impressive European growth companies we’ve come across". (English, Swedish / Di Digital paywall).
  • Lesslie (Stockholm, solution that helps businesses to save time and money on cross-border payments, founded 2020): SEK18M (€1.6M, $1.7M) in an oversubscribed funding round led by Wellstreet, with participation from existing investor Quinary, as well as angel investors David Craelius and Erik Seifert (Swedish, machine translation). The company cites "over 500% growth for 2023". This would translate into a bit more than SEK2.1M in net revenue, as the company reported net revenue of SEK350K for 2022. Lesslie raised its previously round in spring 2023, amounting to SEK10M, at a post-money valuation of SEK130M, according to Bolagsverket. The new valuation is not known at this point.
