# Stockholm-based SaaS startup Plant raises SEK25 million to help real estate and construction companies reduce their climate impact

[Plant](https://www.plant.se/), a Stockholm-based startup that offers a SaaS solution to help real estate and construction companies identify and reduce their climate impact, [announced](https://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/plant-an-idea-ab/pressreleases/plant-saekrar-framgaangsrik-investeringsrunda-foer-att-accelerera-fastighetsbranschens-klimatomstaellning-3314866) a funding round of SEK25 million (€2.2M, $2.4M) led by Latour Future Solutions. Almi Invest Greentech and Course Corrected also participated in the oversubscribed round.

The company was founded in 2017 by the brothers Pelle Tunell and John Sjulander, and touts helping "50% of Sweden's large cap real estate companies to reduce their climate impact". For 2022, Plant [reported](https://www.merinfo.se/foretag/Plant-An-Idea-AB-5591126981/2kgt96t-1n4dj/nyckeltal) net revenue of SEK7.6 million (up 2x year-over-year), and a loss of -SEK3.4 million. 2023 numbers are not public yet.

Around a year ago, Plant [raised](https://www.swedishtechnews.com/news-february-15-2023/#funding-news) SEK6M from AGV Invest. According to data registered with Bolagsverket and sourced via [Eivora](https://www.eivora.com), total equity funding before this new funding was around SEK13 million.
