  • The bidding war for Pagero, which began in December and saw three different companies making acquisition offers, is over: Thomson Reuters announced today in a press release that it now controls 99.45% of the shares and votes in the publicly traded Gothenburg-based global network for automated business transactions. The Canadian buyer paid a maximum of 50kr per share, for 160.2 million shares, and "intends to initiate compulsory redemption of the remaining shares in Pagero and promote a delisting of Pagero's shares from Nasdaq First North Growth Market" (English).

  • Kameo (Stockholm & Oslo, digital marketplace for crowdfunded loans to property developers, founded 2014): SEK30M ( €2.7M, $2.9M) in a funding round led by Incore Invest, which becomes second biggest shareholder, after ABG Sundal Collier. Kameo was founded in Norway, but Sweden is the company's biggest market, by a wide margin. Kameo cites having increased revenue by 25% to SEK51M in 2023. While the year-end result was still negative, the company says it generated its first positive EBITDA during Q4. Kameo aims for a public listing in Stockholm within three to four years (Swedish / Di Digital paywall).
  • eComID (Stockholm, upcoming solution that aims to empower global online retailers to collaboratively reduce product returns, founded 2023): undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding from H&M Group Ventures (English). eComID was founded by former H&M employees. 🆕 More information about this new company on the early-stage startup tracker page, or in the Google Sheet.
