BlueGreenFarming raises SEK 2 million from Almi Invest and others

BlueGreen Farming, a Härnösand-based startup developing a system for in-store cultivation of spices and salad, has raised SEK 2 million (€180,000, $200,00) in funding from Almi Invest, Sparbanksstiftelsen Norrlands Riskkapitalstiftelse, and private investors, according to a press release (machine translation).
This is the first more substantial equity funding for the company. Previously, BlueGreen Farming had secured SEK 300,000 from Tregion Startup Invest, and an undisclosed amount from private investors.
The company, which in Swedish contexts calls itself BlåGrön Odling, was founded in 2021 by Nawras Alashour and Olof Frensborg.
