Carla, the Stockholm-based startup operating an online store for used electric vehicles, has raised a fresh SEK 38 million in funding from its existing investors, Di Digital reports.

The company cites a pre-money valuation of SEK 375 million, which represents a slight increase from 2023/2024, after Carla raised around SEK 70 million from existing shareholders such as Bonnier Ventures, Inbox Capital, Black Ice Capital, and Verdane. However, it's down from a peak valuation of close to SEK 900 million.

Carla was founded in 2020 by Patrik Illerstig and Niklas Jungegård, and has now raised around SEK 450 million in total funding.

For 2024, the company expects to report net revenue of nearly SEK 1.1 billion, up 64% year-over-year, and a loss of SEK 98 million, vs SEK 137 million in 2023.
