Esports platform and service provider Epulze declared bankrupt

Epulze, an Örebro-based platform and service provider for the esports segment, is bankrupt, according to public Swedish company data. The company's website has been offline since summer, when it laid off employees following an inability to raise additional funds.
The company was founded in 2015 by the brothers Mattias, Markus and Pontus Lövgren, and raised over SEK 100 million in total equity funding, from Svea Ekonomi, Carucel Finance, Knutsson Holdings, and others.
For 2023, Epulze reported net revenue of SEK 42.2 million, and a loss of SEK 35.2M million.
