Mentimeter, the Stockholm-based audience engagement platform, has returned to profitably in 2025, according the company's just published annual report.

Net revenue grew 11.5% year-over-year to SEK598M – a decrease in the growth rate, which was 18.6% in 2024. Mentimeter cites currency headwinds as a reason for the slowdown.

Despite that, the company closed the year with a result after financial items of SEK14.6M, compared to -SEK55.1M in 2024, and a free cash flow of SEK53.8M.

The company ended the year with an "enterprise ARR" of SEK295M, and a "self service ARR" of SEK319M.

Mentimeter was founded in 2014 by Johnny Warström and Niklas Ingvar. During the past years, the Swedish company had reportedly been preparing for an IPO, though so far nothing concrete has been announced.

In Q1 2026, Mentimeter shareholder Creades cut the value of its holding by 36% from previous quarter, amids worries about the "SaaSpocalypse".

One of Mentimeter's more notable users is the Catholic Church, which recently used the platform to hear 10,000 volunteers at Pope Leo XIV's visit to Madrid.
