  • Fever (Stockholm, API-centric platform for virtual power plants, founded 2022): €10M ($10.8M) in a seed funding round led by General Catalyst, with participation from previous investors La Famiglia and Norrsken VC. The company will use this capital to "accelerate expansion plans, deepen product development, and expand collaborations across Europe" (English, Swedish / Di Digital paywall). The valuation of this seed round is not known at this point. Fever was founded by three alumni from Zettle and one from Spotify, and raised a pre-seed round of €1.5M around a year ago.
  • Capitainer (Stockholm; platform for microsampling of blood for everyone, everywhere, founded 2016): SEK30M (€2.7M, $2.9M) in a funding round led by strategic investor We Venture Capital, the venture capital arm of the Werfen Group. Existing investor Sciety participates as well. Half of the amount is contingent upon Capitainer achieving specific milestones (English). This funding comes less than a year after Capitainer raised a $5.7M round. For 2022, the company reported net revenue of SEK5M (up 2.5x from 2021), and a loss of -SEK24.3M.
