  • The Axel Johnson-owned Swedish investment company Novax increased its stake in nine-year-old Stockholm-based fitness studio subscription service Bruce to 75%, thereby becoming the majority owner. Back in 2019, Novax (through a differently named vehicle) invested SEK20M in Bruce. Today, Bruce offers access to 900 gyms across Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Net revenue in 2023 reached close to the SEK100M (€9M, $10M) mark, up 67% YoY (Swedish, machine translation).
