Ochno, Swedish maker of "the "world's best USB-C connectivity solution", turns profitable while growth accelerates

This news was covered in Swedish Tech News PRO on August 14.

Ochno, a Swedish startup based in Västerås around one hour from Stockholm, has developed what it claims to be the "world's best USB-C connectivity solution". Designed for meetings, the company's product promises to provide a seamlessly integrated solution for charging, screen sharing, and video conference.

Ochno just published its annual report for 2025, showing a 69% year-over-year net revenue increase to SEK32.5M (around €3M) – a slight acceleration in the growth rate. The company also cites positive cashflow and posted its first profit, of SEK0.7M before tax.

Ochno was founded in 2016 by Olof Ermis, and has not raised any VC funding. In early 2024, the German BACHMANN Group announced a strategic equity investment in the Swedish startup.

According to a note in the annual report, Ochno does not rule out to raise additional funding in the future to finance its expansion.
