Fika Jobs launches video-first hiring platform, backed with $4M in pre-seed funding

Fika Jobs, a new startup from Stockholm, launched its video-first hiring platform today, and announced $4M in a pre-seed funding.

For candidates, Fika Jobs combines a 10-minute AI agent conversation, and clipped video reels that capture their skills, experience, ambitions and values.

Once live on the Fika Jobs platform, candidates can be continuously matched with relevant current and future roles. According to the startup, this reduces the need for repetitive applications, and helps candidates get discovered for opportunities where their skills, goals and potential are a stronger match.

The pre-seed funding was led by Luminar Ventures, and saw participation from Alliance VC, Wave Ventures, Sebastian Knutsson, Riccardo Zacconi, Mattias Miksche, Johannes Schildt, Joseph Michael, and various others (all names here).

Fika Jobs was founded last year by the brothers Jakob and Alexander Dubois, who previously ran and iterated a social app named Gaff.
