As subscriber you have access to the exclusive shared Google Sheets which include all funding rounds, as well as the list of new Swedish tech startups. Updated daily. NEW: There is now also a sheet for tracked bankruptcies.
  • Gilion, formerly ArK Kapital (Stockholm, growth & funding platform for startups, founded 2021): €10M ($11M) in an equity funding round from existing investors including Annika Falkengren, and new investors Oscar Werner (recently appointed CEO at Gilion), Göran and Henrik Garvner, and Andrew Konopelski. This brings total equity funding to €40M. In its press release, the company cites a 4x YoY revenue increase (presumably for 2023), and an 8x increase of companies on the platform (English, Swedish).
  • Capitainer (Stockholm; products for self-sampling of blood from the fingertip, founded 2016): SEK21M (€1.8M, $2M) from existing investors Sciety and Sciety Venture Partners, to expand the production and strengthen the company's sales organisation in Europe and the USA (English). This funding comes shortly after a SEK30M funding round raised in early 2024 led by We Venture Capital, with participation from Sciety (at a pre-money valuation of SEK364.6M, according to data registered with Bolagsverket sourced via Eivora).
  • Drifter World (Gothenburg, automatic AI-driven parking system, founded 2020): undisclosed amount from Knutsson Holdings, which becomes a "significant shareholder" (English). The startup announced its most recent funding round in summer last year, which amounted to SEK20M. By then, total funding registered with Bolagsverket was SEK31M. The most recently registered valuation was SEK94.3M. The company's most recent annual report refers to the financial year that ended in June 2022, so the numbers are a bit stale.
  • Nordstjernan Growth led a $28.5M Series B funding round raised by US-based company Oden Technologies, provider of AI-driven solutions for the manufacturing industry. Other Swedish protagonists in the round are Flat Capital (as new investor), and EQT Ventures (which invested in Oden previously) (English). The company was co-founded by the Swede Willem Sundblad, who also is CEO.
  • EQT Ventures led a $14M Series A round raised by UK-based tech engine for private equity deals Pactio (English).
