  • Epishine (Linköping, developer of organic solar cell technology for low power electronics, founded 2016): SEK69M (€6M, $6.5M) from existing investors Philian and Axsol, for the commercial expansion. To date, the startup has raised SEK256M in equity funding. Co-founder Mattias Josephson says that the company will raise more (Swedish / Impact Loop paywall). The pre-money valuation was SEK230M, according to data registered with Bolagsverket (sourced via Eivora) – down around 34% from one year ago, after Epishine raised SEK60M led by Jula Holding. In early May this year, Epishine announced that a consortium it leads was awarded a SEK38M grant from the EU.
  • Update on the €2.8M funding round recently announced by Argus Eye: The pre-money valuation was SEK60M, according to data just registered with Bolagsverket.
