  • Noctie (Umeå, personal AI chess coach with a human touch, founded 2021): SEK2.6M (€220K, $240K) led by Northern Light Capital II and Partnerinvest Norr, with participation from Propel Capital and angel investors including Andreas Thorstensson, Christer Sturmark, and Mikael Frænkel. This is the startup's first funding round. The company will close a second tranche of another SEK2M, led by the same two main investors, after the summer (Swedish / Di Digital paywall).
