Mergers & acquisitions

  • Opper (Stockholm, task completion API for AI, founded 2023) acquires Stockholm-based industry peer FinetuneDB, which also was founded in 2023, and offers an AI fine-tuning platform to create custom LLMs. Financial details were not disclosed. FinetuneDB founders Felix Wunderlich and Farouq Aldori will join Opper as Chief Growth Officer and CTO, respectively (English). Opper has so far raised €2.5M in pre-seed funding from Luminar Ventures, Emblem, Greens Ventures, and angels. FinetuneDB raised initial pre-seed funding from Antler, and was also backed by EWOR at some point this year. ℹ️ Opper company details
