MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS


Sharespine (Gothenburg, integration platform designed to simplify and streamline the synchronization of data across various business systems) is being acquired by Fortnox (Swedish / Breakit paywall). ➡️ Added to the Exits Database for PRO subscribers.

Airinum, Stockholm-based maker of urban air masks, has been acquired by an undisclosed "strategic owner with global scale" (English). ➡️ Added to the Exits Database for PRO subscribers.

Instabridge, Stockholm-based app that offers users easy access to Wifi hotpots and other connection options, has acquired Nova Launcher, a custom launcher app for Android "loved by over 50 million users" (English).

Summa Equity, Stockholm-based investment firm, acquires the Norwegian digital remote care provider Dignio (English).

Qvantum (Malmö, next-gen heat pumps): SEK220M (€19M, $22M) mostly from existing investors Thomas von Koch and IMAS Foundation (funding details page).

Zulu Marine (Stockholm, developer of high speed vessels designed to offer a fast and stable ride in challenging sea states): undisclosed amount from Defensor, which becomes majority shareholder (funding details page)

Stilla (Stockholm, multiplayer AI for teams): $5M in pre-seed funding led by General Catalyst. Stilla was founded by the Tictail founders Siavash Ghorbani and Kaj Drobin (funding details page). ➡️ Startup first covered in PRO in December 2024, funding first covered in PRO in spring 2025.

Nordic Bio-Graphite (Stockholm, technology to produce fossil-free graphite from bio-based materials at scale): €2.75M ($3.2M) in equity funding from EIC Accelerator, EIT RawMaterials, and Norrsken Evolve (funding details page). Funding first covered in PRO on January 22.

NordiCredit (Gothenburg, provides companies with loans and factoring services that are not available through traditional or specialized banks): SEK30M (€2.8M, $3.2M) from existing shareholders, including major investor Lena Apler (funding details page). ➡️ Funding first covered in PRO on December 10.

Venga (Stockholm, platform for event invites and photo sharing): SEK13M (€1.2M, $1.4M) from existing investor Lifeline Ventures, new investor Bust, as well as angels (Swedish / Breakit paywall). ➡️ Startup first covered in PRO in December 2023.

Arkivia (Stockholm, AI-powered solution that digitizes and automates the management of the estates of deceased persons): SEK12.4 (€1.2M, $1.4M) from Sven Hagströmer, SSE Ventures, and angel investors (funding details page). ➡️ Funding first covered in PRO on December 9. Sharpfin (Stockhom, wealth management platform): SEK10M (€950K, $1.1M) from angel/private investors (Swedish / Di Digital paywall).

• KTH Innovation Launch unveiled batch 22, comprising 18 startups (English).

Niora, a new startup co-founded and led by serial entrepreneur Gustav Westman, wants to enable companies with recurring revenue to automate contract-to-cash, and stay updated about churn and upsell signals (Swedish / Breakit paywall).

Recrevio, a Stockholm-based all-in-one platform to build, sell, and deliver knowledge online founded by wife-and-husband duo Frida and David Nilsson Berger, has launched. ➡️ Startup first covered in PRO in July 2025

Cinis Fertilizer, publicly listed Örnsköldsvik-based greentech company which wants to produce environmentally friendly mineral fertilizer through innovative upcycling, has filed for bankrupty (English).

We Don't Have Time, Stockholm-based media platform for climate action, is one of the co-founders of an upcoming platform dubbed "W", which aims to become a new European competitor to X (English / Impact Loop paywall, English #2).

Polar, Stockholm-based monetization platform for software products, and Lovable will launch a "Prompt a Startup" hackathon on March 7-8 – in Stockholm and remote (English).

Ymner, bootstrapped Stockholm-based startup, is launching an AI tool which guides founders and others looking for public funding from Sweden and the EU, to suitable opportunities (Swedish / Impact Loop paywall).

Relox Robotics, Stockholm-based maker of an autonomous golf ball picker, has signed Swedish Husqvarna Group as sole distributor of its robot across Europe (English).

Ljusgårda (aka Supernormal Geens), Tibro-based vertical farming company, is pivoting away from producing salad for grocery chains. Instead, the company aims to use its technology to provide plant-based ingredients to the food supplements, cosmetics, and pharma sector (Swedish / Breakit paywall).

• Mattias Bernow has stepped down as CEO of Cellcolabs, Stockholm-based manufacturer of GMP-certified mesenchymal stromal cells, with immediate effect (Swedish, machine translation).

• Sebastian Ramseid Foss, co-founder of AI native compliance platform Hybridity, is stepping down as CEO and moving on. "I’m exploring what’s next, and I’m open to conversations", he writes (English).

• Following layoffs at various gaming companies from southern Sweden, a local initiative is rallying the regional tech sector to help this talent find new careers that match their skildls and competence (English).

• The Next in Mind Pitch Day will take place on February 5 in Stockholm, aiming to be a "curated meeting point for impact investors, foundations, and system-level funders committed to youth mental health" (English). ➡️ Added to the Swedish tech event calendar
