  • Syre (Stockholm, textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, founded 2023): $50M in a Series A extension, bringing the total to $100M. The first part was announced alongside the company's launch in early March. In addition to the already announced Series A founding investors TPG Rise Climate and H&M which chipped in some new cash in this extension, new investors joining in are Giant Ventures, IMAS Foundation, Norrsken VC, and Volvo Cars. The funding round will finance the construction of the blueprint plant in the U.S., and Syre's first two gigascale textile-to-textile recycling plants in Vietnam and Spain's Iberia region (English).
  • ZeroPoint (Gothenburg, technology for increased performance per watt for servers and embedded products, founded 2016): €5M ($5.4M) in a Series A funding round led by Matterwave Ventures, with existing investor Industrifonden being the Nordic lead. Other existing investors including Climentum Capital and Chalmers Ventures participated as well (English). ➡️ I covered a partial closing of this round in the "unannounced funding" section on May 2.
