• Alex Therapeutics (Stockholm, companion apps for patients and their treatment challenges) has sold its assets to various buyers, including Navamedic, which bought the Parkinson's disease application Levilog (English). ➡️ Added to the Exits Database for PRO subscribers.
• Brickanta (Stockholm, agentic AI platform built for the work that moves construction projects forward) is "acquihiring" Alysa, a Stockholm-based startup founded in early 2026, which was building AI for construction bids (English, Swedish / Breakit paywall). ➡️ Alysa first covered in PRO on January 21.
• Monterro, the Swedish B2B software growth investor, has acquired a majority stake in Danish startup Creative Force, which offers AI-driven content production for online retailers (English).

• Legora (Stockholm, collaborative AI platform for lawyers) is reportedly in early-talks to raise a new funding round at a valuation of more than $10B (English).
• Quartr (Stockholm, AI infrastructure for company research): $18M in a funding round led by existing investor Altos Ventures, with participation from new investor SEB Venture Capital (English, ℹ️ database).
• Aligned Bio (Lund, nanowire-assisted single-molecule detection platform): $3.6M in a funding round led by LMK (English, ℹ️ database).
• Millow (Gothenburg, technology that turns oats and mycelium into beef‑like protein): €2M ($2.3M) in a funding round led by existing angel investor Magnus Emilson (English, ℹ️ database).
• Amanda AI (Stockholm; autonomous AI advertising robot for optimizing Google, Meta and Bing advertising): SEK10M (€900K, $1.05M) from existing investors and shareholders, including the founders and Spiltan (Swedish / Breakit paywall, ℹ️ database)
• [PRO last week] A startup developing a rapid diagnostics test for a contagious bacterial infection has raised first funding.

• Sonder Labs, a new Stockholm-based energy infrastructure startup, is slowly getting ready to come out of hiding. • SCRL, a bootstrapped social media design platform headquartered in Stockholm, doubled its revenue in 2025 to around €34M (English).

• Klang, the Helsingborg-based startup offering solutions for AI notetaking for high-stakes work, is launching in Japan – the first market outside of Europe (English).
• Sweden ranks #10 globally for AI-related funding in PitchBook's 2026 Global VC Ecosystem Rankings (English).

• Spotify has released Xirp, a vendor-neutral agentic development environment available to outside developers (English).
• Spotify is sponsoring school visits to Stockholm's National Museum of Science and Technology (English, Swedish).
• Karolinska Institutet Innovation has opened the applications for its KI Incubator, aimed at science-based startups with the potential to improve health, healthcare or patient's lives (English).
• An Industrial AI hackathon will take place in Malmö on August 25 (English).
• One month later, Gothenburg Tech Week, Chalmers, Chalmers AI society and Chalmers Entrepreneurship Society will host a two day hackathon in Gothenburg on Sep 25-26 (English).
• Accel, the global VC giant, will bring its AI Innovate hackathon to Stockholm on September 16 (English).

• Fast initial traction does not matter for VCs if the vision is too small (English).
• There are three founder archetypes: the problem founder, the insight founder, and the vision founder (English).
